...and the favor of the gods goes to ...

While I was selfishly waiting at the ToA last night, waiting for europe to get the favor, instead of fighting for it myself, I had to read very rude remarks about koreans, americans, other nations, women doing something with fish etc.

Anyway: If europe wants the favor so bad, and now, with the lag gone, nothing technically seems to stand in the way, why do they keep fighting each other?

I had been fighting for the favor, before I went to the ToA and with 6 teams only one was from korea.

I suggested on the local channel, that all european teams should go for the korean team, for I do believe that the koreans are good, but not that good that 1 team of them can kill 5 teams from europe.

But no, what happens is, that the european teams finish themselves off, more or less, and by that, make way for the korean team.

Well, but given the fakt, that it's already hard enough to get team spirit into a team of 8 random ppl. How hard must it be to unite 5 teams from europe to go united against the one team from korea?

Most, I reckon, would consider teaming up based on the wank Worlds at War idea to be detrimental to gameplay. I attack the team that's closest, or in free-for-alls the team that's winning. Not the team with the squiggly names.

Oh, and anyone with an inkling of common sense keeps local chat turned off in any form of PvP.

Well, it depends on your motive in PvP.
If you want europe to get the favor it would be most unfortunate for europe if you'd attack an european team will america and korea are still "alive".

I agree, with the exception, when you want to unite european teams to go united against a non-european team.

With respect, if you are an english team and you see a french one the nationalities of the other teams does not matter, you go straight for them. Lets face it, the countries of europe are too diverse and there is too much history for them to get on with each other.

I must say, your tactics impress me. Attacking French teams regardless of what else is going on... it's so brilliant, so rational. Oh, wait a minute - I got confused. See, rational and retarded both start with the letter R; everyone makes mistakes.

I'd like to exercise a little faith in humanity and point out that this is an obvious joke, but people are pretty damned stupid. My vote's on "sincere".

When I'm in Tombs I'm trying to win. Period.

It isn't that "Europe" wants favor badly. It's that Europe *PvE* wants favor badly. Europe *PvP*, as always, wants to win, and whether or not Europe has favor has little to no effect on their gameplay experience.

I have done the 'gang up on Korea' thing before, but not based on any patriotism or the like. If you find yourself in a 3 way stalemate, indulging the jackasses from the other team on your server is a convenient way to eliminate one team quickly and get on with playing tombs.

But, really, I don't care what continent a team happens to be from. Play tight.
