Items that I didn’t use in the starting area

I’ve just found that I still have a few quest items that I got in the starting area that I haven’t used:

Beautiful Pendant
Black Pearl
Some type of egg (cant think of the name)

Does anyone know what these are for?

The Pearl, Pendant and the Feather (which you didn't list, so I'm assuming you didn't find) are quest items for the Perfect Gift quest (pre-searing). Basically you're looking for a nice gift for Rurik to give to Althea. The eggs are also for a couple of pre-searing quests. One is used with Pitney I think... and the other is used with Old Mack. If you seared, just toss these items. There's no need to keep 'em.

The Beautiful Pendant was for a quest where you were supposed to find a beautiful gift for Prince Rurik to give to Althea.

I've never gotten the black pearl, so I don't know.

The egg is used for a quest for that guy next to Devona, but I can't remember what quest that is.

The devourer egg is used to kill the queen worm in the farmers fields in pre-searing. Give the farmer the egg, follow him to his fields, kill the queen worm. If you're in the searing now just throw these items in your bucket in the items menu, you dont need them anymore.

I still have two Hunter's Ales from pre-searing. I don't know why I'm still holding on to them.

I also found a rabbit that showed up on the mini map as a green triangle - does anyone know what it was for?

I've been asking myself the same question while i was in pre-searing.

Someone take gwen to it. If that doesn't do anything then I doubt something happens with it.

That rabbit holds the secret to the whole game.

The rabbit guards the Holy Grail. Don't mention the Holy Grail if you're near it though, otherwise the rabbit morphs into a killing machine of unspeakable destructive power.
