PvP only characters

I created a PvP warrior, but when I opened the inventory I had no weapons. Anyone know why that happens? Is there a way to trade weapons between your own characters? Any help would be appreciated.

you get weapons by doing quests.
if you choose pvp character...you can not do quests, but pvp.

dont quote me on this one...but i hear something about account based storage.
if that happens, you might can trade between your characters; but im not sure about trading between pve and pvp characters.

There's account-based storage in the form of Vault-Keepers after the Searing, but I don't know if they are accessible to PvP only or not.

I do believe you earn weapons by holding the Hall of Heroes.

You do, but I heard people say that their PvP only character couldn't get the items. I'm hoping it was a bug.

When you create a PvP character, there are a few default weapons that are available to them to use, and at the start, that's it. However, you may or may not have noticed in this last BWE that you can unlock item upgrades the same as you can unlock Runes. The idea here is that all of your upgrades will be stored, so you can use them to create the weapon you need for your character (rather than trying to quest for one specific, and transfer it over via account storage.) Of course, normal rules regarding weapons upgrading still apply, so you can't run around with a sword with every modifier in the game.

Just as Spooky said, you may choose a weapon in the equippement screen which appears in the PvP character creation screen.
The initial choice is not that limited.

theres no way they would make it possible to trade weapons across PvP & PvE because you could make a PvP character and get it's weapons with you lvl 3 PvE character...
