This is My Interupt Build, VERY VERY FUN!!!

Res Signet [we all love them]
Maybe (Rend Encantment)
For this build to work you have to have a ranger on your team to use winter.
All you do is cast your encants, then spinal and fire storm, use ether renewal, and then spam flare that person to the Under World, every flare you send interupts because of you keeping spinal shivers, ether renewal keeps your energy up when combined with spam flare and the encantments. right now your interupting at 1 beat a second. Very Funny TO Use Against another Caster Such As An Aeromancer [they cant cast a thing and sit there and die]

Three problems:
1) Nature's Renewal totally owns you, not to mention even spot hex removal.
2) Who in the world sits there and takes Firestorm damage?
3) Flare can be dodged and blocked by terrain.

It Works, Trust me, its one of those Things youve got to see in action before you notice the ownage, the point of the flares are to recharge your energy, you can swing with a water wand if you wish, The Fire Storm isnt what your using to interupt, its just the starter fase. And Spinal Shivers has a 10 second recharge and 26 second duration.... And Also Natures Renewal Will Be Hit With The Nerf Bat Soon

Three responses:
1) Firestorm is the start of what? Anyone in their right mind will only be hit with the first second of damage. What's the point of casting this? Going with your "theme"... Immolate would make a better choice since it is auto-hit with a reasonable recharge, especially with a 20/20 staff or focus.
2) Flare is there to recharge your energy... ok, so even if your target ducks behind a column or a hill you're going to keep firing?
3) "Soon" is not "now", and at this point we don't know if it will ever come (ANet hasn't exactly been forthcoming, only that their "working on it"). Not only does it strip your hex, but the enchants that you depend on. I don't see how this is viable with NR as it stands now.

When I use shivers I usually go ranger, and use marksman's wager so I can keep it up despite losing energy. Machine gunning distract and other bow skills with tiger's fury works well, though it is tough having a four attribute build, kinda low on hp.
I think this is a better route than ele because it's not reliant upon a spirit, it's tougher, it can deal damage faster, and if shivers gets removed it still has moderate interrupt ability and great damage capability. It can also kill spirits very quickly, and prevent them from being recast, it's a very good "ranger shutdown" (works on bow attacks!).
I also never runs out of energy with wager, so long as you don't ever attack fleeing foes.

oath shot and choking gas when gas ends oath comes back rinse repeat choking alone sucks but with oath shot its more than a nuisance its a full on pain in the ass

Oath Shot has a 20 second recharge. Could make this setup work if you add QZ, though.
Really, Choking + Incendiary or Choking + Practiced Stance (both with high Wilderness Survival) will be much better than anything using Shivers.
