Attack Speeds

I just wondered, some people says that sword have a better attack speed then an axe, is it true? cause i checked both and they seems like they have the same attack speed...

Both Swords and Axes have a 1.33/sec attack speed and Hammer has a 1.75/sec attack speed.
Whoever told you that swords attack faster than axes is incorrect as swords and axes have the exact same attack speed.

damn i got a sword coz i thought it attack the fastest

It does attack the fastest. It attacks once every 1 1/3 seconds. Hammers attack once every 1 3/4 seconds. Like they said above.

SS - I believe that A NERD1989 thought that swords had a faster attack than anything, including axes. Which based on experience and the info on this site is incorrect.
