what color should i dye it?

Well i have a summit warlord shield and 15k glad armor (see in the picture). Was wondering what color should i dye the shield. I was thinking probably gold, black or silver, but i dont know. Also how do make the dye that matches the stock gold color that comes on 15k glad? ive seen that huge color wheel mixing thing but there are like 10 differnet golds on it.

hmm. i would go with gold, although im not sure which gold matches the glad gold. My gladiator armor is dyed silver, so that shield would actually look quite nice with it, although there is not much to the girls 15k glad armor...haha.

gold or black to give it a hero or war beaten look.

It is alreay gold, I would just leave it the way it is.
I've seen famale gladiator dyed with all different colors and the original is the best.
I do not remember where the picture was but original was best.

Mines all in silver. I use the knights helm though. I would post a pic, but I'm not on the right computer now. This is a side pic I took awhile ago that I uploaded.

Base color has a huge impact on how a particular item will dye. I've seen purple+red on warrior's armor where it is almost hot pink (chart), but on 15k female rogue's, it's the color of grape juice.
15k gladiators dyed "copper" (he's still looking for the perfect sword/shield)
The helmet here has a different base color compared to the rest of the armor, so it needed a different dye mix to get it to match perfectly. If you want the shield to match your armor, you're going to have to experiment on your own.
