Spirit Questions that need to be answered

Ok spirits are considered nature rituals, is this still a skill or spell that can be effected by things like a mesmers interupt?

I havent seen anything on this anywhere, and Im looking into a effective way to stop spirit spamming, interuptions from the mesmer line seemed like the most viable option however someone pointed out that it has a nature ritual descriptor on it, a ritual isnt really a spell but there has never been anything to say that it isnt a spell.

Anyone that actually knows this would be very helpful to let me know!

A nature ritual is not a spell. It is a nature ritual, its own category. Only hexes, enchantments and spells are spells.

So can nature rituals be interupted by fellow rangers with distracting shot?

Yes.

Yes, it can be interrupted by things like distracting shot, along with disrupting chop. Mesmer interrupts such as power leak, power drain, or power spike will not interrupt it, since they only interrupt spells. However, leech Signet and Cry of frustration will interrupt it , since they interrupt all skills.

One of the best ways to stop (or at least slow) most Spirit Spammers is to make Oath Shot miss, through evasive stances or Shields Up.
