Yellow Dye for 1,400 gold? Who Knew?

Last night, the dye trader had yellow dye for 1,400 gold. I was floored.

Yellow dye is usually the one everyone dumps first and usually hovers (only a week ago in fact) around 130 gold.

But last night, I went to look at the price of red and blue (which were both down by the way) and yellow was 1,483 gold! I was selling it at 95 gold only last week. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

I was thinking about buying up all the yellow I could afford, to screw up the prices. I bet someone beat me to it.

Weird... I guess there must have been a sudden demand for brightly-coloured hippy characters. *Shrugs*

The demand for it is much higher. I assume it is because everyone is trying to make Gold and using a lot of yellow dye.

same with runes since yesterday or a few days ago all the prices whent up i can sell a major vigor for 10k im not even talking about sup absorption lol

i sold 5 minor runes yesterday (all different all found in less than 15 minutes) and the least i got was 200+

i could have sold black to trader for 11,000+ but i am not crazy for gold

and i am keeping my stash of major vigors for my own use

dont worry the prices are lowering again atleast for dyes only silver and black are stupidedly expensive atm

Yeah noticed that too. What is a minor rune of death magic usually-150 gold or so? Last night a necromancer rune that I found was going for almost 1500 gold. Geez!

Of course! Because two nights ago, I was trying to clean out all the runes I'd accumulated (minor and major necro and mesmer), and couldn't find any takers, so I sold them all to the rune trader for 25g each. I suppose I could have spammed the sale in the "All" channel, but I hate that, so I didn't.

the selling price for yellow dye may have gone up but my yellow dye selling prince was only about 100g... I was hoping for around 500g at least then I would have sold it... oh well...

rolls of velium were sellable in lots of 2200g last night. almost made 40plat of that before i got bored.
