If I were you, I would just skip dying that armor until you can uprgrade to something better, seems like a waste to put it on that imo.

any dye on that armor is injustice to the dye community as a whole, BUT! fear not, i have the answer to the ugliness! BUY THE CHEAPEST!!!! save the funds! OR!!! since it is not flattering anyway, be the first with the ugliest set in the game

sometimes the odd combinations of colors can be surprisingly good.
I put orange on my female Droknar's Knight's armor and it looked rather nice - kinda like biker leathers for sportbike.
