Need help with a good N/Mo build

Hey guys,
I'm a level 20 N/Mo and can't seem to find a good all around build. I've tried playing with a a death magic/healing/protection build. However, I can't seem to deal enough damage and am helpless against undead mobs.

Next I've tried a smiting monk/farming build to deal with mobs of unruly undead. But then get killed when my enchantmets are shattered.

I just want a good all around self sustaining char who can deal damage, do crowd control, and keep myself alive with healing. Any suggestions would be just uber fabulous.

Try a blood magic build. Load Vampric Gaze and Vampric Touch within the same build, but don't use them to initiate combat; use them when health is at about half. Throw them off right in a row. With a monk as your secondary, you should be able to take quite a beating before you go down so long as your energy is kept up. You could throw barbed signet in there, too, along with Blood Renewal. It's not a bad all-around loadout, but it takes some time to get used to letting yourself take a beating for a little bit.

Interesting build out. I'll have to give that a try. I've been used to dealing a lot of damage with the smiting/death combo, but that didnt' seem to sustain me too long when solo'ing. This sounds like more rounded build. Thanks for the feedback.
