forgive me if this is old news (not news here, but a question/discussion)
I have a rather extensive collection of dyes, I've never used them on 3 ascended, final armor characters. But today I thought I'd experiment on my naturally green armor. After all I've read on dyes I was quite surprised. In 7 tests on my armor here's what I found.
dye remover - nothing
red - red
blue - blue
yellow - yellow
silver - silver
green - green
orange - orange
The present color of the armor meant nothing... the dyes worked as they appeared they should. Has this been fixed or have the countless threads complaining about weird dyes been limited to dyeing weapons (or limited to only mixing dyes)?
edit:
orange dye turned my scar purple
edit:
then silver turned it a pretty shiny light green
dyes fixed?

fem necro tormentor's armor. natural color is green. I've got so many dyes, but it's the one possession of all my collections that I"m fanatical about so I don't really want to experiment, but the idea of experimenting is cool
edit:
for full experimentation, I'll need 20 of every color (not a problem for all except black)
5 to test a full set in every color for a day or two
5 to be ready to permanently choose my final color
5 for mixes
5 so my stash is not depleted
Actually, among 4 characters I guess I'd need 65 of every color... whoa... pricey...
edit: for two of my characters (ironically, the two males) I either don't wish to change the color or can easily envision the necessary color changes. But for the two females I feel the need to try different colors and see what works. I guess it's because the female armors look more interesting generally. Or possibly just the classes I chose for fem look more interesting

I was just asking because a bunch of the armors dyed how they should before and only a few excluding scars and tats were weird.
