They actually tend to go for more than that. 10K+ is not uncommon. I will give you 8K for it, if interested. Now your +4 one, those are worth about whatever the merchant NPC will give you for it.

i guess pc = 5-10k no more than that
they arent that rare of a mod even tho they may be better than fortitude
the chance to find a +5 armor is so much better than finding a +30 fortitude ( IE perfect mods)
