Our battle went on for more than 30 minutes when it was apparent that nobody was gonna win. One side couldn't do enough damage and the other side couldn't strip the right enchantments.
So we decided to dance it off . . .

I went and got a sandwich and came back - mostly everyone was still there.
So we decided to have 1v1 bouts - I was the female warrior and had a 1v1 with their warrior. (I won btw) - I couldn't screencap that because I was fighting.
Below you see our monk vs. their mesmer - it was a draw.
Later we did some hardcore rock/paper/scissors - I don't recall the score.
Still, nobody wanted to be the first to log off!
Here we are just waiting it out - playing chicken.
I wish I could tell you how it ended - I left around this time. For all I know they're still there - lol

in my pvp, we had 3 wars and a monk in our group and winded down the other team to one W/Mo. But nobody on our team brought hamstring, so we chased that one war around the map until the 60 minute mark. She has some sort of enchantments on her that made he really strong, im not sure what. At the 60 minute mark our monk got bored and left, then we agreed to do 1v1 between the warriors. In the middle of the 1v1, the enemy warrior bolted and ressed her monk in her party, who ressed the ele who immediately owned out team. Talk about cheating!

Yeah - that's clearly dishonorable if you two agreed to 1v1.
When our warriors went 1v1 the monk and mesmer were just aching to intervene. But they just stayed on the sidelines and watched.
BTW - hamstring is ok - but I find the elite Bull Charge more useful. It's especially great for finishing off running casters.

Very interesting. You could leave but then sombody might jump back on to kill you. I wish I found another pvp team who had a sense of humor like you guys did.

It helped that, when I first announced a truce, I simultaneously stopped attacking (taking a few unanswered free blows) - then removed my enchants and removed my helmet. I think that helped lighten the atmosphere.

I had the same thing ALMOST happen to me. We had a 25 minute battle, but I found a way to trick their monk who was part smiting into running after me, and my team killed their members as the monk ran off. The monk put up a good fight, but couldnt handle the 4v1 action. :P
