there are many good combo's u can use with a Ranger... but u have to know what u want to specifise [sp] in

Well the classes ive been considering r warrior and monk. R there alot of ranger skills usable with a hand weapon such as an axe? ive read its good for using aply poison to many at once. i can also see some benafits from skills like bonnetties. Monk has obvious healing benefits as i think troll urgent is a bit rubbish and can also heal pet.
Overall id like im to have a pet most of the time and deal some damage either with his bow or with a hand weapon as a warrior. would a smiter/pet build work well?
