A New Idea for a Warrior/Monk

I was thinking that since lots of people are using Warrior/Monks as tankers, but what about a W/M that uses smiting prayers skills to aid mostly himself? If the W/M used Strength of Honor, Bane Signet, Banish, Cyclone Axe, Cleave, Shield of Regeneration, and Vital Blessing, he/she would be able to create a massive melee explosion, and would last a long time in the middle of the fray.

Although this character would be dependent on other traditional healers, they have the bonus of being able to focus on only 3 attributes, as well as being able to delve into healing prayers for solo runs.

I think it would be a major asset to a party and in pvp.

It could just be me but I don't like using a build that requires any enchantments for PvP. Although it isn't that big a deal for warriors everyone knows how much it hurts when those enchantments are removed.

I'm not claiming enlightenment. I just want to know if anyone has thought of this before, and if it's a good idea, before i try it.

i'm more of a pve guy anyway.

remember warriors only have 2 pips of regen in energy and only 20 energy (27 with glad's armor) so it wouldnt work too well energy wise unless u get bonetti's in there

In fact - how about a big ol' warrior armed with an energy ankh and a +energy healing rod who goes around healing and protecting? Or is that beneath them?

W/Mo Hammer Smiter is my favorite kind. Strength of Honor, Judge's Insight, Balthazar's Spirit, and other's are all aimed in the direction of Warriors and Rangers... they should use them rather than think that their +3 Mending Regen is the definition of elite.

It not only has been done, its been done alot. A w/mo that uses heaing is worthless in pvp, at least when they use smiting they wont completely suck.
