HoH: Who when??

Its well known that Europe hardly ever has the Favor of Gods. We know there are some good teams, but when do they play? I've only seen some late at evening, around midnight European time.

Today, when I post this I just noticed America is attempting to win the Favor from Korea... It was 2 pm European time. Korea... I understand, its evening there. America??? Da hell! Its between 5 am - 8 am in America. What are they doing online at this time of the day? Or is it the European players who move to America?

People in America who play online games don't live much. Most of the time I go to the HoH is 1-3 am O.O

Guild Wars is more important than sleep. Caffeine substitutes for sleep just fine.

well i am aussie on american servers, so my afternoon is americas morning

I kinda feel this was the original rationale behind WaW. Countries gain favor during thier peak times, the number of competitors drain off becuase some go "Let's play some UW/Fow for a bit" instead. Then the balance of power swings back when it aproaches the next areas peak time.

What wasn't counted on is that Europe still can't win even during its peak when the current favor-holder is having competitors siphoned off doing FoW/UW, and having people offline due to it being off-peak for them.

actually the "amirican" server is the most international one.

Not because of europeans switching to it but because of people all over the world that joined the american server in first place because they are somehow bound to america.

Well I know 1 finish team: The Valandor. They don't play now because leader of them is in the army or something like that. They were the killers of War Machine and Guild of The Week. They have taken favor 7 times if I remember right. .And if you guys understand finish:

Another European Guild that I have seen taking and keeping favor for a while - AP.
However Europe has often favor after 01:00 am Central European Time, that is also quite interesting and confusing. Seems that the best players from Europe sleep during the day and play during the night

Have you wondered how many people play on the american server but live nowhere near America? I play with koreans, europeans, aussies, I've seen new zealanders, and many more nationalities I never bothered asking. Doesn't matter where you live you can play on any server. America is obviously the most popular.

Oh and I'm Canadian. Not American.

Edit: you don't see me complaining that Canada never has the favour of the gods.

They could call it the NA server instead of america, it still wouldnt change anything.
They could call it the asia server instead of korea, it still wouldnt change anything.
Europe is the only really aptly named server for the region it is intended to support.
