the thing is, i just bought this game l=2 days ago. i know that this game got incredible ratings and stuff, from ao many people, and so many websites.

does the game get better? i just started, and im hoping it gets better from here. i think i heard that you have to get passed a certain part in the game in order to start having some real fun, is that correct? im probably just being impatient.

i know this game has to be good. too many people like this game (not a bad thing) so i am gonna keep waiting and playing till it gets better.... someone please tell me when it gets better.

If you're still in pre-searing (everything is green and pleasant), then yes, it's boring. Keep trucking. There are good times ahead.

Or it could just be the class you chose. I find warriors to be boring after awhile. I find rangers to be boring because in the early stages, they don't deal enough dps. I find eles to be boring because all you do is hit flare + fire storm + meteor shower. I find etc. boring because etc. It's all about your preference for classes.

one advice : while it's your first time in pre-sear, take your time to explore
you won't see green grass very much afterward

You'll find out if you keep playing. Trust me you'll get out soon enough.

What class are you? Warrior?

Yep. Pre-Searing can get pretty boring after a little while -- Ascalon is that way. The game gets a whole lot better once you get out of there and start going through the later areas, such as Shiverpeak Mountain and Kryta.

Keep on truckin', it takes a while, but I started to truly enjoy myself once I hit the mountains.

play the beautiful ascalon environment for a long time... you'll thank the boredom later on when you see the next area. The game does get better, most of the missions you run right now are "messenger boy" missions and fighting is always by choice since very few creatures are actually aggressive.

The game gets much harder and though I once thought it a silly statement, the game doesn't truly start until you hit the level cap (20). Until then it's like a live-tutorial.

That's a good point. I think the game actually starts at post-searing. Pre-searing there is no penalty for death and there's no real reason to care if you die. If you feel the whole thing is too boring, I say you're right, the beginning feels like a 4 year old could master it, but as you ease your way to Yak's Bend, you'll suddenly notice a big jump in difficulty. So don't worry, it only gets better from here. Go get 'em tiger.
