Where to get fur squares ?

I remember on my travels I came across a trader that you could get fur squares by trading other items..anyone know where such a trader is ?
Also what items produce fur squares when you salvage them ?

1. As has been said, collector in Ascalon city (Clarrisa Sedgwick is her name iirc). You need 4 charr hides to get 1 fur square - and as has been said, don't select the belt pouch

2. I believe when you expert salvage "hides" you get a chance of getting fur squares - ie like snowy centaur hide. However I've never gotten any fur squares doing this... and I'd advise against expert salvaging charr hides to try.

According to gwonline the following can be expert salvaged for fur squares (remember you only get a chance at getting them): Centaur Hide, Centaur Vest, Charr Hide, Dolyak hide, Losaru Hide, Shiverpeak Bowmaster Vest, Snowy Centaur Hide, Snowy Ettin Hide,

never had a fur square through salvage. always by trading. 15 still in storage, might come in useful someday.

as stated you need to use an expert salvage kit on those items to get a chance for a fur square.
in my experience you have a 1:4 or 1:5 chance to get one.
higher quality (higher enemy lv) items also have the chance to give more then one square...
although i only once got two out of an item (an armour of some kind IIRC).

for charr hides the collector is the best solution, but the other items can be turned into fur squares at a reasonable prize too...
MUCH cheaper then buying them from traders or other players, even with only a 1:5 chance. -->5x16 gold (1:5 chance, 16 gold one use of expert salvage kit)=>90 gold per square.
