1. im currently choosing between the ff:
Warrior(Hammer) / Elementalist(Earth)
or
Warrior(Hammer) / Mesmer(Domination)
im leaning towards W/Me but i still need more input from diff people.
ive already decided to go hammer for the knockdowns but i cant decide on what to get for my second job. so which is better *in general* for pvp? i wanna kill faster using knockdown/aftershock, but i also like backfire and blackout to shutdown those spell casters.
2. is it possible for a W/Me to even come close to the damage dealing capability of a W/E? is that Aftershock after a knockdown *that* big of a deal? or can it be replaced by some other hammer or domination skill which, when combined with domination, can match the effectivity of W/Es.
3. which KD combo do you guys recommend? the Backbreaker>Crushing>AS/Blackout? or the Devastating>Crushing>Heavyblow>AS/Blackout?
4. why is backbreaker even an option when devastating causes knockdown AND weakness at a lower adrenaline cost? someone told me stonefist gloves wont affect the KD duration of backbreaker because 4 seconds is the maximum KD duration. seeing as most hammer warriors use stonefist, why not use devastating hammer? devastating hammer plus stonefist gloves gives 4 seconds of KD duration too, doesnt it? am i missing something?
5. if i go for warrior/mesmer, what other damage skill can i use in place of after shock? if i do the dev>crush>heavyblow>blackout combo... then what? any skill you can recommend in particular? is wastrel's worry worth sticking in after the heavyblow before blackout?
6. oh and is that dev>crush>heavy>blackout combo easy to pull off? i mean, does it require precision timing or something or can i just spam the hotkeys in order and still get it off?
7. any other useful domination skills besides backfire and blackout? hehe im just starting out and i dont have that much time to test each skill.
8. as a W/E, do you think this combo would be effective?
Devastating>Crushing>HeavyBlow>Aftershock>Stoning
or is a warriors energy too low for it towork?
9. lastly, how much damage does an average level 20 hammer warrior deal per normal swing on casters? can you give a rough estimate?
