In another forum there was a thread where people posted screenshots of their character selection screens during the betas, so one could see their four characters lined up. I got a real kick out of seeing what kinds of characters people had there, and I am insatiable for images that give me a feel for my options, so...anyone here have any shots of your selection screen?

Lots of healers to choose from.

(Yeah, unfortunately, I don't have awesome armor like Dreamsmith because these are all just Pre-Searing characters. Reasonable expectations, I guess?)

Indeed, pretty much exactly like that. [Does a happy dance] I just can't get enough of seeing other people's characters...at least until I get to make my own finally.

Actually, my husband and I spent a good hour or so at Dreamsmith's page just this morning, cracking up at his screen shots. He has a real gift for the amusing caption! I especially enjoyed Guy the Apple Bandit...

How do you take a close up shot of your characters face? When I tried zooming in normally with the mouse, it either wasn't that close or jumped in to first person mode. Do you unhook the camera somehow as I tried this without much success.

Zoom up close and then walk up next to a wall that the camera will bounce stop on. Face the wall then rotate the camera so it impacts the wall and it will get a smidge closer.

Whoa... your sig is bigger than that screenshot.

Quote: Signatures are great as long as they are not overbearing. The purpose of the forum is to read informative posts, and not to be distracted by large sigs. Hence, we must enforce a sig. height limit. Keep it small and simple. Posters here are restricted to a graphic signature 120 pixels tall by 500 pixels wide with a file size of less than 50kb OR 3 lines of text. A combination of the two can be made and you can have a graphic signature and one, two, or three lines of text but for each line of text your signature's image must be reduced in size by 20 pixels of height. A blank line also counts as a line of text.
