I noticed a bolt of linen costs 2.2k at the rare material trader. Since I had 10 spare bolts I expected to get a fair price for them. But the rare material trader offered... 15 gold??? I'm sure this is not supposed to happen. The normal material trader (who always offers lower for rare materials) offered almost 2k. And the merchant 150 gold.
Also the rare material trader does not offer an opportunity to change the amount when selling.
Rare material trader bug?

it would definitely fix all the "high priced" items in the game, if they did make the trader buy items at a "balanced" rate.
but i guess it was just ones of those things that got overlooked in the process.
*they will eventually fix it.

I notice the same happens with dye. And a lot of players around trying to sell common dye at high prices, but the dyetrader does only offer 1 gold for it lol! Apparantly some players bought all the items of a kind, raising the price skyhigh, and the game mechanics react with making those items worthless when you try to sell them back.

supply and demand is like a rollercoaster and you never know what the flavour of the hour will be.
