Newbiest GvG question ever.

OK, I've searched and searched. Now, I'm just going to ask.

HOW do you GvG? I'm not asking for in depth strategy or 'what button to push to start it'. My guild decided to try GvG yesterday for the first time. Getting into the battle was no problem, but then we were just standing there with a flag and a guild lord and having no clue what to do next. We're not looking to be the number one guild on the ladder or anything, but it's embarrassing to just sit there and not know what to do.

What is the goal in GvG? Do we kill the other team? Do we play capture the flag?



To the guys and girls in CoV, thanks for not laughing at us. We did have fun and hope you at least got a couple of points of rank or something out of it.

This is how u WIN GvG, u will arrive at the Boat or the Fort with all party members, guild lord and guild theif.

Now, u shall take the flag to the flag stand in the middle of the map, this both teams try too do.. Anway, when u have taken the flag stand u shall go to the enemys base door with the theif and she will unlock it for you. When its open, u will have too kill the enemys Guild Lord. When he is dead, your team has won!

(of couse u will have battles with the enemy team so it wont be that easy... The enemy team will be resurected at the resurection altar if they die, with DP of course! )

So basically we plant the flag and kill the guild lord, fighting the other team while we do it of course.

You reminded me, not all of us resurrected when we died. I wonder why?

Hmmm,.. YES, there is a bugg i have seen one time, when ONE party member doesnt rez at the altar :S it doesnt matter how long me and my team-mates wait, he never gott rezed :S

Anyway, this has only happend one time for me, and i have never heard anything like that befor,..

But, u wont gett rezed as fast u die, u will have too wait...

When your death penalty reaches 60% you no longer Rez automatically. Your team mates can still rez you though.

Thanks. It probably had something to do with someone not having a rez signant equipped too.

Signet has no effect on the auto-rez in GvG.

Tyically there are tow routes a team may take to their opponents guild lord. Some teams will go the standard route, others will attempt to rush him and kill him super quickly.
