noob question about earth dmg on weps

ive heard some people say it ignores armor like earth spells.other say it doesnt ignore armor.what is the truth?

another good question to ask with this is about Lightning Dmg, does it have armor penetrations aswell, or does that need to be listed?

No, they don't have added armor penetration. They just change your damage from physical to elemental (in this case earth or lightning). It's always good to have some type of elemental weapon to switch to if you need it, depending on the armor tpye of your enemy.

The lightning one I can understand people getting confused on. Almost all lightning spells have that bonus. But Earth ignoring armor? Only 2 of the 7 damage-dealing spells in that line do that, and both have major downsides!

You didn't make the slightest effort to search for an answer before posting. I wonder why people are not interested in posting an answer.
