The first thing that came to mind was..."That's it?"
Maybe I'm being shallow or they will add more...

Looks like they added the builds to the Pary names like everyone asked.

Awesome.. I wonder when there going to add skill set toggles for quick skill set changing in towns. It seems like this is needed, a quick change between PVP and PVE skills by just hitting a toggle button.

Just clear something up for me.
When we play for real, our characters can play both PvP and PvE right? So there will be no choice screen right?
Please tell me I'm right

1) RP character, that have access to both PvE and PvP
2) PvP characters, that have access only to PvP areas and to skills/items you unlocked with your RP character(s).

So, can RP charatcers do everything, then whats the point of a PvP charatcer, to quickly have acess?
Deathta Yu
There is also a very nice "Guild Wars Manuscripts" manual included with the game pack..worth the read there too.

I didn't knew about the "danger zone" from the starters manual. Is it new, or have I (very likely) just been blind?
I like the party, a level 1 ranger, and a level 20 Ne/Mo. Very balanced
Dear level 20 Ne/Mo, I think it is about time you joined the Academy...

I was hoping for a little more 'in-depth' information, the information it currently contains is already covered in the in-game tutorial (and done much better there since people can try it out right away). I also think it's odd this manual isn't linked in the site nagivation menu - you have to access it from the News article.
The professions section remains painfully outdated, showing 4-5 skills from each class with descriptions, names and icons dating back to the E3 WPE event. Although it states the selection shown is but a small part of the 'professions and skills in GW', it's not very obvious to visitors - seen plenty of people wonder why professions had only 4 skills, and it falsely implies there are more professions available besides the six listed. I imagine ArenaNet will want to fix this before launch, even if it simply involves removing the page, it currently hurts the site more than it helps.

Great Gjl
Nothing in there that isn't already self-explanitory, but then again all it has currently is the 'Getting Started' section.
Kaedar
The guide isn't that in-depth but it's fine for those who need to get familiar with the game before playing.

worthless
I must say, the included manual that comes with the box.... IS NICE! 144 pgs of beauty. I'm glad they didnt give out some flimsy 5 pg manual, it shows time and effort went into every aspect of this game. Thanks Anet and NCSOFT

it has some lore, history of areas, history of the wars and such, info about important figures in the game (80 pgs worth for that) and then the rest is about how to play the game and basic manual stuff.
