Agreed. Cake > Model T's.
Anyways, I'm siding with Warriors as boring... in the event that you actually want to FIGHT. Running as a warrior is a blast.
Unbeknownst to many, it's also a great test of strategy. You have to find pockets where there are no enemies to rest those sprinting skills, you have to time them right, you have to avoid certain types of enemies, and so on.
Oh, and BTW... a W/E is great for that. Armor of Mist (run 33% faster, etc), Sprint, Charge!, Windborn Speed... it goes on. So many ways to go fast.
I'm sure Rangers are quite interesting at higher levels... but they're really quite boring pre-searing... I want a trapper, but I just can't stand leveling up to that.
Think Mesmers are bad for PvE? Try switching targets. The enemy will punish themselves. Empathy that Forgotten Hammer, Backfire that Hydra, then do some fun stuff with Mind Wrack! You can sit there and take on three different enemies at once, instead of just one. There is a downside, though... this will confuse your henchmen.
Healing Monks boring? Go secondary Ranger with a Pet. I soloed for a while with a Healing Monk/Moa Bird combo... good fun. You get to attack by commanding the bird, and still heal.
In short, if you don't know how to actually play the class, it will seem boring. It's when you get into some of the unique skills that seem out of character that things get interesting.
