Has anyone had any success combining smiting attribute with a Mesmer?

Divine Favor is generally more useful than Fast Casting in smiting builds. If you insist, you can still spam Divine Boon with Channeling, but the effect won't be very good -you'll probably end up dying without adequate divine favor.
