Regarding Soul reaping in PvP.

As far as I know, soul reaping is the primary attribute for necromancers, which gives you +1 energy per lvl in soul reaping, lvl 10 soul reaping would give me +10 energy, have I got this right?

Now to my big concern, is it worth it to put lvl 10 soul reaping in PvP? I mean, will I have that much use of it, in PvE, monsters die all the time, but in PvP players don't die that often. I'm gonna play N/Mo. Is it a better idea to chose Monk as my primary just for the sake of divine favor, or is necro a good primary just because of the soul reaping?

What are your thoughts regarding this, is it worth it in PvP?

Thank you for your answers and thoughts.

I think Soul reaping doesnt give you max energy +1 but when somebody dies near you you regen 1 energy or whatever your rank is.

Yes I know, but that means, when something dies and I have lvl 10 soul reaping, I get +10 energy. The thing is, will it be that usefull in PvP?

Some say no and others say yes. I personally have never played a necro so i would say try it out for yourself.

I'd advise you to read this thread (this post in particular).

tried... and I'm not big time pvp or nothin', but honestly, no it's not that great. I've only played 4 on 4, but for the most part (when you're playing against competent foes), once people start goin' down, the reap won't help that much. The times I've tried it's like: A. that 10-12 energy isn't gonna save my butt, or B. I'm managing my energy well enough where I don't notice it... hope that helps a little

I don't think its worth it in pvp, perhaps in pve but I would rather put those points elsewhere. I Went Neco as my primary just for the sexy outfits.

yes sould reaping is extremely useful but not untill you get to higher lvl places

In pvp, not sure, as long as you are making bone horors everytime someone on your team or the other dies... it could give you an almost unlimited amount of energy
