Are the elemental attunements broken?

I've tried using air attunement and fire attunement and I'm getting the same results. All the spells I used that are attuned still cost the same amount of energy to cast and/or I do not see 30% energy used to cast being returned to me. The only thing I see the attunement spells doing is costing me 10 energy.

Your health is restored for 30% of the amount, it doesn't return 30% of the energy back to you.

For 36-55 seconds, you are attuned to air. You gain 30% of the energy cost of the spell whenever you use Air Magic.

The way I've seen it works is that your skills will always cost the same amount as it says. The differnce is that after your spell is cast, it will refund you the 30%.

Hence as the skill says. You "gain" 30% of the spell whenever you "use" So-so magic.

This is the description for fire attunement:
For 36-55 seconds, you are attuned to fire. You gain 30% of the energy cost of the spell each time you use Fire Magic

And the is the description for Aura of restoration:
For 60 seconds, you are healed for 152-350% of the energy cost each time you cast a spell.

Being healed for 30% of energy it cost is ridiculous, since 30 percent of the highest energy costing skill(25 energy) would still only be 6 health. That's what aura of restoration is for. I am not getting any refund in energy. so again, are the elemental attunements broken?

Um, no, they aren't. So say you cast Fire Attunement, then Meteor Shower. Meteor Shower costs 25 energy, that doesn't change. Then when you finish casting the spell, you get 7 energy or something back. If you're interrupted, knocked down, move while casting, etc., you don't get the energy refund. If you use a spell that isn't Fire Magic, no refund. They're not broken, never were.

No they are not broken. If you have an atunement up and cast rodgorts invocation, it will cost 25 energy initialy; after you are done casting 5 seconds later (if you don't get interrupted), you will get "refunded" approx 8-9 energy. Don't see it happening? Make a fastcasting mes/ ele with 16 fastcast and 12 fire, put on fire attune and ele attune at the same time, then fastcast flare, rodgorts, phoenix, fire storm and meteor shower as fast as you can, and if you aren't out of energy when you're done, then it must be working regardless of if you can "see it happening" or not. I take no responsibility if you get backfired at anytime during your run.

That is what i'm saying, i'm getting nothing back. i have 70 energy and 12 in fire, i cast fire attunement. my energy is now at 60. i wait till it goes back up to 70, cast meteor shower, it costs 25. my energy is now at 45. I did not get back 7(about 30 percent) energy. if i did, my energy would be at 52. I tried that with both fire attunment and air attunment. that is why i am saying i think elemental attunements are broken.

ok, checked it again carefully, seeing the refund now. thanks for listening patiently to my rantings.

They're not broken or anything. This guy probably uses fire magic when he got air attunement.

no he was expecting the 30% refund coming back the moment he instantly casts.

exacly he was xpecting it instantly its a comon problem with new users of attunments see they dont explain it on the description of the skill that u have to w8 like 3 sec for refund.

If you are casting spells with exhaustion, maybe you are just not seeing the benefits or spell attunement clearly.
