Doppleganger Bonus??

I know there are a lot of posts on the Doppleganger but couldn't find one that answered my question..which is...

What do you get for doing the bonus? i.e Kill him in less than 50 seconds. The first time I killed him I didn't do it within the 50 seconds so I went back after playing around with my build. I finaly did it in about 20 seconds but didn't noticed getting anything for it. Is there anything?

BTW I did it with a Mo/Nec if anyone needs help on how to do it with these proffessions.

i think its just an extra 1k exp and a skill point like other missions... i never noticed anything diffrent when i beat it in under 50 seconds

I've only fought the thing once, ever. Beat it in about... 15 seconds I guess. (It screwed up by casting Firestorm.) I never noticed a bonus. May have gotten one though.

Isn't that when you ascend? I don't know because I've never ascended. But I thought you would ascend after that. Maybe wrong.

I watched closely this last time I ascended. I beat him in around 30 seconds.

You will see a +1000 and a +50000 XP roll up the screen.
Its really fast and if you don't pay attention you will miss it.

You get 50k+ for defeating the doppleganger?!

Yeah.. too bad im almost lvl 20 and not even in the desert yet. So that 50,000 xp will just go to skill points.

Thats what you get for doing every quest from pre-searing to yaks bend, then taking henchies from camp rankor to as far as i could north 3 or 4 times.

Then i decided to do the Missions in Lion's arch.

Oh well.. first character.

If you beat him and get the bonus you get:

- Ascended - Access to Mission "Dragon's Lair" and the Tombs of the Primal Kings

- 50,000 EXP and 1 skill point

- 1000 EXP for bonus

Dang! I got to get there soon.

Well don't keep your hopes up, afterall at Level20 ,50,000 EXP will get you 2 and half skill points, which is something I guess.

Just take your time and don't be a rusher.

Don't get your hopes up. Unless you're skipping a ton of content, you'll be at level 20 possibly before you even get to the Crystal Desert.
