does anybody know the max amount of gold you can hold in your stroage per account? is there a limit?

1000 platinum.

It scares me when someone can answer that question in such a cold way.

the total maximum gold you can store is 1.4 plat because you can put 100 plat on each character as well.

when you add in the stackable valuables (ecto shards dyes etc on all the characters it will be well in the billions

I play the game WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much and hardly have a life, and I have hardly 20k.

I'm married, have a full time job, go out to lunch with my buddies at work everyday and have a baby on the way.

My guildwars account has 4 lvl 20's all in Droknar's Armor and most with a full set of runes (only 1 Sup. Vigor that I found) and I've got just over 50 plat in the bank.

Some days, I don't get to play GW at all. Others I may get to play 3-4 hours in a day. I'd say I get 1-2 hours a day of play time on average and I'm quite happy with what I've been able to achieve while maintaining a life outside the box =]

There is life outside this box. Can someone stop the world I want off.

Actually the guy only asked how much money could he put in storage per account. So the first persons post was correct. Please read the entire post to answer correctly.

i did

in storage includes everywhere you can store per account.

if he/she has specified just the vault the 1000 plat would be correct.

i was letting him/her know there was substantial excess over the vault

GW does not have a vault it has a STORAGE CHEST, therefore storage refers to the chest, not mule characters.

mine says *VAULT BOX* on the screen so it is either a vault or a box but not a chest.

well mr zun. i do have a life and ive been playing this game for about 2 months and ive been up to 500k twice and then go bak down again. im sitting on 500k in my storage atm and have about 17 weapons that will sell for atleast 100k each if not more. and no i dont buy ebay gold. i am a reseller. i buy sell and trade in ascalon and lions arch.. so it is very possible to get that much money.
