Most sougt after weapons?

Looking at these forums I've noticed that different designs of weapons go for more than others of the same type ie Crystaline swords over longswords.

I was just wondering what the more desired type of weapon is for each weapon category and why?

^it's about rarity. if you ask me, crystal's dont even look all that great, but yet, they go for outrageous prices. why? cause of how rare it is.

thats for swords... as for hammers... it's the mursaat. Mursaat hammer goes for alot of gold. a 15%>HP req 11 went for 700K!!!! and its a hammer we're talking about here [the least favorite]

axe... who knows? Sickle probably. we have yet to seen one thats 15%>HP. or a max one at that :P (that just proves its rarity)

for off hands: 12 Energy, 45 HP When Enchanted, 10/10 Skill Recharge
caster primary: 11-22. 5 Energy>HP, 10/10 Fast Cast.


for staff... Ghostly Staff 11-22. 10 Energy. 60 HP (StaffWrapping, StaffHead). 10/10 Fast Cast, 10/10 Skill Recharge.
. that can well go for a Million.

for shields: Eternal Shield, Magma Shield, Shadow Shield. 45HP When Enchanted. (or 30HP Always) and DMG reduction 2 (or -3 10%) can well go for over a million easy.

Best mods = Best Price


Swords: Crystalline, Fellblade, Long sword, Wingblade

Axe: Chaos/Sephis, Sickle (UBER RARE, but i think people like chaos/sephis more), Tribal, Serpant

Bow: Half Moon, Short Bow (Best Stats), Storm Bow

Hammers: Mursaat, Twin, Spiky

Shield: Eternal, Magma, Shadow, Aegis

LOL u think hammers are the least favorite. HAH hammers are the best.

I didnt know sickles were that rare. I salcaged a clean white one the other day was only midrange damage on it so dont expect anyone would of paid anything for it.

never knew mursaat hammer where rare. The other day i sold mine to the merchant

I didn't know sephis axes were rare...all i ever hear about is chaos. I find sephis all the time.

All you really need to know are that among swords, crystaline are the rarest, fellblades are the most popular, and longswords are the best looking. Among bows, half moon is the best but storm bow is the best looking. Among shields, go tall for tactics or magmas/eternal for strength.

everyone seems to have forgotten the ball hammer.

ball hammers aren't rare.
just MAX damage ball hammers are pretty damn rare.
rarer than max damage mursaat i'd say.

Someone bought an 18-34 blue Mursaat hammer, req 11 and dmg +10% vs. hexed foes, for 20K from me the other day...
