I hope it is just me but I logged on this afternoon and found out that Balthazar's Spirit is broken now. I gain absolutely no energy now when I take damage. It worked perfectly last night but today, nothing. I did the same thing last night as I am doing today. I am gaining no energy from this skill and I wonder if anyone else is noticing this.

Your smiting prayers are past 5 right?
if not at least 9 you wont even notice the gain

I have 12 points in smiting. I was gaining all the energy I needed last night and today, zero.

Do I smell a nerf that annoys 105 monks and renders a previously average skill completely useless?

Ok, I figured out what is going on. Here is a quote from their update page:

Quote:
Corrected flaw in Mist Form skill that was preventing it from reducing damage from elemental damage attacks.
I was using Mist Form last night and today while using Balthazar's Spirit. Whatever tweak they made to Mist Form today made it so that you no longer gain energy from Balthazar's Spirit while using Mist Form.

Balthazar's Spirit still works without Mist Form, although that doesn't help me for my purposes. I am wondering if this was intended or if this was an accidental side effect...
