My Armour vs. other pplz

Um i notice that in-game, on the highest graphic setting, npc armour detail and my own armour detail is outstanding graphically. But when i zoom in to get a look at other peoples armour, i am greeted with pixelly blurry graphics. How come i cant see fine graphic detail on other's armour? Is it an option somewhere...or is it just the game?

That's just so you don't have big graphic slowdown in towns. In instanced areas, you can see everyone else's armor at it's best.
