When you input the preorder key earlier did you get a message about your acount being registered or activated or something?
If so then you should be ok as my understanding of how the account information is complied as long as the intial registration occured under a preorder key inpoutting the release key early will not screw up you access.

great, I installed the game that I received today and entered the CD key NOT the preorder key. Now it seems that I'm screwed as far as getting a sneak peak. Does anyone know if sneak peak key can be entered AFTER entering a CD key??

Go in "Edit Account", then "Menage Access Keys" then "Next" and "Next" again.

This is dumb, but how do I enter the pre-order key into my account? Do I have to wait until the 27th before it asks because when I log in, it gives me the option for RP or PvP character and when I click one it says "you're ready but there is no event going on right now" or something similar.

Follow the same instructions I posted above.
If you have pre-ordered the game and already entered the key to play the beta, you are certainly having the key already entered.

The instructions you posted above don't work for me because there is no Manage Account for me. I never played any of the beta's, either.

Wont work. You can't get to the char select screen unless you already have a character. So you can't add a key until after you can make a new character which wont be until the 28th which means no early play tonight. I did the same thing, I sent support a message a few hours ago, hoping for a response soon, maybe they can manually add my key or something..

Hmmm, well, I don't think that's the case because it said if you pre-order it you can play the 27th. I'm sure there were quite a few people who pre-ordered AFTER the last beta event (I'm one of them).

I personally think on the 27th, it'll ask for a key again if you never played it.

I'm hoping there is a way to add my key tonight as well. But I'm not holding my breath.

I have the exact same problem. Just picked up my preorder 3 hrs ago and when I enter my key it tells me that I'm all set but their is no event going on now.

Something changed... now when I select RP or PvP it shows me that I have early access and the preorder bow then it asks for my cd key.

great. the new patch resolved the issue. Does anyone know whether the sneak peak characters will be reset on April 28th???

It's not a sneak peek. It's early access. So no they wont be wiping them.

Edit: If you mean the betas, then yes those will be wiped, if they haven't already.

I have the pre-order box purchased AFTER the last Beta event. Tonight I login to see if anyupdates download, I get to choose between a "Roleplaying" and "PVP" character screen. Now I have a screen titled "View Content Rights" Which says I have early access rights and a "Extra Feature" called a Kanthan Targe (best Buy). Now I click Next and get "Type in new access key into boxes below", does this mean I have to wait until I get my retial version to enter the Cd-Key, or will this clear and let me in when the servers open?

Oh and what is a Kanthan Targe???

I have no idea what that targe is. Some sort of shield.

Thanks Zai, was a little worried I had missed something. So when the servers open and I login I will be able to create my character without getting prompted for another key?
