what do you mean the resolution is wrong? That monitor probably has a max resolution of 1024x768...maybe it looks "wrong" because you are used to a larger resolution?

Make sure its in the default resolution. That is 1024 x 768. Double check your video card settings in the desktop properties window. Then, if your monitor came with drivers (some do, not all monitors are plug and play), install those then check again.

the resolution is at 1024 x 768 , the monitor didnt come with drivers, so i dont think it is plug and play, but when i look in device manager, it just says plug and play monitor

have you tried playing with the refresh rate, although they dont technicly refresh, if you have it one the wrong setting it can blur some of the screen.

my LG flatron goes blurry if set on 60herts it likes 70herts

i doubt its a driver issue as most flat screens are plug & play.

other than that id need a better description of what is wrong
