Ah.... I know what's wrong... you are seeing the screen cap I made of my desktop... here is the ful 65million color ver.

This is what I see when I play. The screen cap program cut the colors down when I took the one of my desktop.

Actually, it's not his graphics card. He saved it as a GIF instead of a JPG. Not his fault, really -- he's probably using poorly written software that lists GIF as an option when saving images that cannot possibly be saved as GIF, and then when it's selected, creates a new image in memory that can be saved as GIF (but only approximates the original image) and saves that instead, all without informing him of what it's doing. Users shouldn't need to know the nitty-gritty details of image formats, but when software is written stupidly, users need to be better informed. So, here's a rule of thumb: use JPG for anything you didn't draw yourself in Paint. GIF is the ideal format for simple drawings and art with few colors. It's a bad format for complex art, photographs, etc. Saving a photograph or GW screenshot as GIF will result in a very low quality image that takes more space than if you used JPG.

I switch my wallpapers between my Fan Art and pictures of my cats usually.. it has to be something I relate to so rarely it's a Fantasy piece I choose cos they're all other people's work

Hate icons that clutter things. Disabled the Recycle Bin, so that stuff deletes automatically w/o the extra step. Keep all my neccesary shortcuts in the start menu

.d I agree, The Skins Factory does some pretty awesome work, but a lot of their stuff is too bulky and 'too' graphic heavy for my tastes. But their unique style and creativity are top notch. Unfortunately, using their skins requires you basically piss away about 50-100k+ of your resources just to pretty up the shell. I'd rather conserve my resources and put them to better use, like multi-tasking a render and guild wars.
