A New Weapon

In my opinion , they should add eternal swords and maybe eternal axes ( i realise it would sorta look like chaos axe ).

personally as for new weapons goes, i think they should add more two handed weapons. like great swords, claymores, great axe's, you know. wider variety.

I agree with both that there should be an "eternal" sword and more types of weapons like 2 handed swords and 2 handed axes. There should also be 1 handed mauls or maces. Maybe even some kind of melee weapon for caster? or am i going too far?

Not so much new weapons, but I would like the elemental hilts to make the weapon look different. I'd love to see my longsword with a similar effect as a storm bow if it had a lightning hilt thrown on. Or leaving a blue streak if I strike with an icey hilt. Baulder's Gate had this sort of thing, made weapons look magical.

Having an add-on change the weapons appearance would actually make a bit of sense. If I'm carrying a sword with an "adds Ebon damage" hilt, I would expect the blade to be pitch black!
Although I wonder how they would make a graphic for a Poisoner's String...

something that they could implement for 2 handed weapons are to place them in the axe, sword, and mace category so that the skills still work with them instead of making new attributes for weapons. Like for axes you can have those giant 2-handed axes and for swords just pole arms with blades at the tip, same can work with the maces, jsut 1 handed and can still allow for knock down. I personally love pole arms like pole blades, how good it would be to do galrath slash spin with a pole blade.....

Problem with your Idea Haku is that the one handed hammers (ie maces) would becom very overpowered. The hammer skills are much better than the other two weapons because you are forced to swing slower and use both hands. If both are taken away with a one-handed hammer....lets just say we would have to get very used to being knocked down.

I agree... I would find a 2 Handed Sword to be very useful, however im an axe warrior... So some sort of Axe would be excellent.... However in my opinion, if they were to make them stronger, they shouldnt make them too much stronger... with the right combo's already you can be pretty powerful as a warrior

What new weapons that are needed is Spears, and Throwing Axes
I mean...what kind of war/fighting thingy has no Spears to stab people, and axes to throw at them :P Guild Wars is the name, Fun gutting and killing is the game. But I would like some Spears, you know, to penetrate a monster through the gut

IMO, the game seriously lacks is glowing wands and staves. Warriors have Fiery Dragon Swords/Chaos Axes and Rangers have Eternal Bows. But how about us, the wands/staves users?

You get reallly cool looking staves...well some of em..like there's 2 earth ones and i like me both. Wands....well, there's your penalty for having a one-handed weapon.

weapons... i want my warrior to be able to wield 2 weapons. Lets say 2 short swords. they will have double damage but they have less armor defense

I had this id 2 get a pair of guantlets that r both weapon so u can carry 2 1 handed weapons that would be fun. The guantlets have blades on them
