Prices reset everywhere

Plasms, black dyes, runes, you name it, it's all been reset. Anybody else notice that major econemy surge we had for a while? Anyway, I cashed in on a monk rune and some black dye for some profit (hopefully). Anybody else doing that?

I have, I profited 12 Major Vigors, bought for 300 and I sold them for 1,500 a piece.

300 for vgior? i'd like to know your middle man. they were selling for at least 5k on the avg if not more.

what i'm curious about is if they economy has been tweaked in anyway. as far as the supply and demand for traders go.

I bought 2 sup absorbs for 5k each (I knew I shoulda bought more ) and sold them each for 85k back to the trader 10 min later. I wish I woulda bought like 10 or 20 of them though.....

At least you sold them back to the trader. that's a legitimate market. for you that is. for me. I'm rather upset that Arenanet does not set a min and MAX value on all items. We know the max is 100k, but I personally think that should be halved to 50k MAX for rares... thus keeping people from exploiting it do accumulate gold for Resellers.

I also want to see the weapon Crafter actually being useful and beiong able to buy weapon upgrades for different weapons beyond just being customized. Then if you want that coveted firey Dragon swd hilt you can add it to your customized weapon. and again cut the lousy inflators and gold retailers Out of the game. I will say with this last update however. more stuff like that seem to be dropping from jsut going in the underworld or fire islnad missions... so its not too bad.

MAYBE the economy will level out. but I doubt it as long as the hoarders are out there....

I comepletly agree with ingram there, the weapons guy does nothing, just sits there and renders you weapons useless to other players...........and also, there should definantly be a limit on how much weapons/upgrades sell for.......450k+++++++++ is absolutly insane for the people who play this game casually

Prices reset?! Whats the price on ecto's and shards at trader? i cannot access game for a few hours can somone post here please?
Also if you cannot afford to trade with the 450k+ people, i suggest spending a little more time and finding a kinder person more interested in playing the game with a similar item. I have bought "450k+" items on several occasions for under 50k - just look outside lions arch.

i can picture a upgrade trader coming... thatll be miserable for those people who spends 120k on 10/10's and 30Hp pommels

* Improved traders so that they maintain more stable prices and closer spreads between buy and sell prices.

* Improved traders so that traders from all regions (America, Europe, and Korea) now buy and sell from the same stock and charge the same prices.


Update – Wednesday, August 10

* Fixed a bug that was making some desert teleporters unresponsive.

* Corrected flaw in Price of Failure skill that was causing missile attacks to miss their targets more than 25% of the time.

* Corrected Hundred Blades skill to deal damage accurately; previously it was dealing only 75% of its intended damage.

* Corrected Mind Freeze skill so that damage is dealt regardless of whether the caster's energy is lower than the target's energy.

* Corrected flaw in Mist Form skill that was preventing it from reducing damage from elemental damage attacks.

* Corrected "The Price of Steel" quest so that so that White Mantle always drop Ruined Armor for players on the quest.

* Fixed a bug that was preventing the skill-swap dialog from disappearing after talking to Captain Greywind.

* Fixed several rare client and server crash bugs.
