I was Chipped Off!!

(NOTE: I'm making this thread to warn others about this Character + other Guilds. Also, I need to upload a .zip file that is filled with screenshots so that Arena Net can PERMENANTLY BAN this character. Moderators, please DO NOT remove this thread from the Forum).

Today I recruited a new character for my Guild (*name removed*). He LOOKED trustworthy. I told him how my funds were and he asked if I could help him with getting Fissure armor, so I gave him about 40,000 Gold to help. While doing this, I took a picture of the trade, him receiving the trade and a picture of the guild menu with him in it to confirm he was in my Guild and a tranaction had occured.

So he asked me if he can have more money so he gives me some gold/purple items, silver dyes and such to sober me up ( =\ ) so I gave him another 15k. But unfortunely, a screenshot did not take and I cannot "prove" that it was taken.. But you do have my word.

Well then, we go training and such, then go to the Guild Hall and have a discussion about how I've been scammed already by people asking for 400g or something for id kits or w/e and i give it to them and then they leave. Well it was interesting, this is how it went.

veripare: then i report people to A.Net
( Person ) : you can report them with that (Umm, yesh...)
( Person ) : yupp ( ??? )
veripare: yes

Interesting? Right? Gets better. I log off for supper and come back. Not in my Guild. Hes the next conversation...

veripare: well does anyone else play on the computer?*
veripare:then come back, your brother is my third officer*

( His other character) : did *someone* leave the guild* (I laughed at that one)
veripare: your bro left the guild*
veripare: he did*

( * = not in the right order or didn't use exact words... Look at the screenshots if you want to see the more acurate discussion)

So he rejoins. We go and farm and stuff and he goes his own way to the FoW and I go to the Tombs and later, log out.

Come back. Hes gone a second time and what do you know, *name removed* is offline! (He changed that thing inside of the friends list to "Offline" so I can't PM him).

Please do not name names.

Him and his brother probably share an account and they cant be in 2 different guilds so I bet his brother didnt know what was going on and left your guild.

you basically assumed too many things in this situation. it happens.
either he was acting or he really was out to get your money.

again, it cant really be proven with what you stated so far. til that other charac comes back to speak with you, its not really a scam...or was it...just work it out with the other person and clear things up.

Exactly. I don't see how he scammed you. You invite him into your guild, he asks you for gold, and you willingly gave it to him. I don't see how ANet would consider it a scam, either.

You can try to take this up with ANet. They're the only ones that can do something about it. Posting it on here isn't going to prevent future scamming.

You really have nothing on this guy. Anet has no reason to ban him. You willingly gave him money (he was someone you met that day), and were surprised when he left. You can call him a scammer all you want, but that is not the case. He exploited your kindness, and ran off with your money when you gave it to him.
This is what pisses me off the most. People like this *scam* (for the lack of a better word) just for money, and run off playing the ignorant 5 year old. It's annoying, but I see no reason for Anet to ban his account.
