Freezes after login

Just recently. as in today. Guildwars would load fine. Get to the login screen. I type in password. Then as soon as i hit enter it freezes up. If it isnt in window mode then i have to restart computer. Tried it like 5 times and 5 out of those 5 it crashed. Anybody know whats goin on. I see they added an update today. Could that have anything to do with it? Lemme know ASAP please.

This just started happening to me too and i cant figure out wtf is goin on....

Yeah it makes you mad doesnt it. I just started out of nowhere. THis morning it was fine. then when i came home 2nite it was like nope im not gonna work now.

Well, I've spoken to Tech Support, and given them all my issues. I just keep getting "have you upgraded drivers blah blah blah..." type responses, and I do know a bit about computers so yes all my drivers are upgraded.

One thing I've noticed lately is that right before my lockups, the mouse pointer starts behaving very erratically, jumping all over the screen, but very slowly. I've also noticed that anytime GW is running, my CPU Useage is at 100%.

Either something is wrong with GW, or there's something wrong with my computer, and apart from going from 512 MB of RAM to 2 GB RAM, I have not changed anything else.

[edit] And now, if I logout and quit GW, my comp freezes. This sucks. WTF is going on? I wish I could figure this out, because sometimes, I can play for hours at a time with no problems, sometimes I can play for a while and experience problems, than not, than again, than not, and then others I lockup right when I login. Something is messed up!
