Why would they do that to the prices. Why do that to the other people who weren't able to be online today? Makes a joke of all the hard work people have put into the game. I've never seen something so dumb.

I'll just expand on the above because it has had a serious impact on my enjoyment of the game.
I've finished the game. Done the quests, missions, cleared the map, etc etc etc
So what was left? Farming, killing and earning more money, runes, or weapons to make the most of the next update. I've farmed and fought for weeks now. In one foul swoop, in one afternoon, Anet has destroyed any fun left in the game. What enjoyment is there in farming for that godly weapon when the guy who made 4 million gp from Anet's stupidity will just outbid me on the wand or whatever I want? What about that Sup Monk rune that I farmed for hours for that was worth 40K? Now people have stocks of 500 in their characters that took them 2 minutes to get. All because they were online when Anet did its dumb update.
Not to mention, that I go to sell my dumb parchment that the trader is selling for 180gp and he STILL only offers me 60 FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!
It's just so stupid I can't think of words to describe it.
Waste of a good game.

I am usually on the side of a.net but yes I agree that was the dumbest thing I have seen so far. Not only was it dumb but it was totally avoidable.

Umm it's not really people complaining that the prices are too low, it was complaints that the prices were low only for a short time where only a few people could take advantage (and hoard) it all and now the prices are either back up to the ridiculously high prices they were or out of stock.
