Serpent axe

Which creatures often drop serpent axe

The only place I've gotten a Serpent Axe is from the chest in the NE corner of Witman's Folly.

i would have thought by now most people would know that weapons are usually random. serpent axes drop like fire swords though, so they arent too common.

it's random but there are zones where you won't have a certain type of drops

for instance, in the desert, you won't drop mursaat hammer because there are no mursaat
and i can say that the serpent axe doesn't drop in the desert, I have farmed it enough to have droped everything that is dropable there

I got over 50 fiery dragon swords, but never have a serpent axe

This sounds interesting, could it be another cool looking anti-chaos axe option? Or is it like "Plasma Sword"? Sounds cool, but looks like a ho-hum sword?

My brother got one in Lornars, but cant remember whether from Golem or from chest

What are the stats on that thing?

I'm going to have to head into Lornors and see if I can find one of those...

This one is actually reward axe from presearing and stats are somewhere around -1 to 0
It is also labeled as Battle Axe, but has exactly graphics of Serpent Axe.

I've gotten a few from the chest outside marhan's grotto. Just white ones, not even max, however...

I got one from the chest in the first quest in FOW. It was max damage, but had a vs. hexed foes damage mod. I think, like Crystaline Swords these are easiest found from chests.

i remember getting one in pre-searing >.< looked cool but it was like 4-6 dmg
