I'm a little confused...please help

Okay,

I picked up my pre-order today. I log in...I TRY to enter my key and I get the error "Your account already has the access rights this key provides." I decide to send in a support ticket and I am currently still waiting on a reponse. I head over to the forums and I see all this talk about pre-order keys, not being able to play until the 27th, and more. I have a few questions...

1. WHEN do I get to play early access?
2. I entered the key in the cd case...is this the retail key???
3. Where is my pre-order key? I can't find anything in my GuildWars things about a pre-order key except on the back of the box where it mentions it, but I can't find an actual pre-order key.
4. Will somebody please give me a basic run-down if what is gonig on? I really don't know anything... D:

Did you pick it up from a store?

If so it might just be a normal copy that they set aside for you.

Zintinix - if you have a pre-order, that password is good for 7 hours hence. If you have a full version of the game, you will have to wait until the 28th to play.

Your account settings shows which Access type you have. For example, I have the pre-order, and if I press "Play" right now, it says this :

"Your Account is authorized to play the following releases of Guild Wars :

Early Access Event (12:01 AM PST, April 27th)"

the cd key is the retail box which is completely separate from the preorder boxes which were out earlier

You should get a little preorder kit with some special keys to enter. If you didn't get them go back to the store and demand your preorder stuff. ~~~ Zai

The pre-order box has two slips of paper - a key for you and a key for a friend to attend ONE BWE event.

If you don't have those slips of paper - go bash them with a Kanthan Targe

Use the beta weekend key, it is the key that also gets you the early access. Just set up mine and I have both the normal play and early play listed as well as the EB bow gift.

yea try now, within the past 4 hours or so, they've released an update and u can enter ur cd keys in now, the ones from ur pre order copy, and it will tell you that you are allowed to play "APril 27 12:01 PDT"
