OK, I'm pumped for this game and I'll play for years to come I'm sure.

Anyway, after much internal strife, I've decided to make a W/Mo first. Partly because I want to play it safe and secondly b/c I'm partying with 2 Ele and a hired Mo.

So for PvE what is a recommended attribute emphasis for W/Mo, specifically the Monk subclass

I'm not looking for invincibility, just LOADS of fun.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Depends on if you wanna go offense or defensive...which depends on if you plan to have a healer with you all the time.

Check the Warrior sticky at the top of this board for 2 great builds that Ensign points out.

Well I expect to have an NPC Monk as much as possible.

Is healing going to enhance my warrior or limit?

The best defense is a good offense. ( I heard that somewhere??)

Smite tree?, protection?, divine favors? which will give more offensive output realistically?

Thanks again

For PvE, a W/Mo can really benefit from Healing Prayers or Protection Prayers. If you have a really devoted healer (not a NPC) then you can forget about supporting yourself and focus on Smiting Prayers.

You're not getting freebies just for posting, you'll need to do some digging and outside of Rangers, Warriors are probably the second most talked about here in some form or fashion.

Check out the skills and check out the warrior posts. There are several w/mo builds all over the site.

A good rule of thumb is to have 1 or 2 Defensive skills, 3-4 Offensive skills (these can be buffs) and then the rest be supportive is some manner, whether it's an honest buff.... ect.

Since this is PVE and you're playing with a Hench, your first skill should be a ReZ skill.

So to start go HERE
for a guide to Rezzing.

OK, OK, I'm not looking for freebies. I only played one BWE, the last as a W/Mo. Only got to lvl 7.

I figure the PvE game experience to be quite lengthy first time around so I was just looking for some suggestions on maximizing my PvE game play enjoyment.

I'm mainly trying to avoid a critical mistake that will cost me finishing the game, like "i'm very powerful but cant keep myself alive" or "I can heal nearly forever, but cant kill so I heal till I'm dead".

I fully intend to get ressurect of some sort from the ascalon quest.

Thanks for the NPC advice KHA, much appreciated.

In the long run with the party I mentioned either healing or some other monk tree will best serve myself and the party.

Just looking for opinions from those more experienced than myself on that particular matter.

The "suicide monk" looked very appealing, maybe i should go there??

Thanks again in advance

Peace
