BUYING ECTOS 300g FOR EACH!

No this is not a joke at all, this is 100% serious.

I am sickened at how so many people got this deal, those that were not around were left in the dust and are still stuck with paying ridiculous prices...

10k for an ecto? please... it takes me 4 hours to get 10k, which means i'll have to farm 60 straight hours to get enough to buy 15 of them from players.

people bought them for 300g each, and thats the deal i want.

Flame if you want, i dont care, I have crappy drops, cant win HoH to save my life so cant make money there, cant survive in UW at all so i just waste my money there, crappy drops in FOW so i dont go there anymore, I have nowhere else to turn.

hope you get it! i hate knowing some kid who just started playing and had a few thousand made good on the 100gp ectos and became millionaires while real players fought for it and worked for hours.

it takes me 4 days to make 1k,i cant make money,crap drops in fow aswell.cant get a party in ring of fire.how do people make all this money it is unreal...

Well my secret (many know of it though, but its still VERY VERY VERY crappy)

I farm the chest outside and a just very very little bit to the north east of marhans grotto, its a quick 20-30 second run and it always drops something if you go alone, i got 3 purples from it and 1 gold.... but then again i have done over 150 runs XD....

The money is still INCREDIBLY slow though, i make maybe a little over 2k an hour, while you hear some stupid a**hole yell out "HEHEHEHE I FIND BLACK DYES EVERY RUN" or "I MAKE AT LEAST 10k AN HOUR"

its unreal x.x i am sick of being left in the dust and having such bad luck, its insane.

ill sell you my ectos for 300 if you sell me a superior rune of vigor for 10k. hahaha. even if it is unfair, no one will do it. I not only missed out, but lost all my money in that huge bug process. Don't think you're the only victim here.

There is a nice little wreckage just east of Elonas Reach (in desert), its by many sand drakes and scarabs, good loot from wreckage but i advise people to do this alone and have sometype of running skill (storm chaser,sprint,charge,bulls charge, etc.).

and its not just bad luck of drops, I cant do HoH/tombs because I dont have teamspeak and it seems thats all anybody wants, I HAD teamspeak, but unfortunately learned that I guess it takes up too much energy or memory or something, cause everytime i ran teamspeak with GW, 5 minutes later my computer would do auto shut-off EVERYTIME, not to mention I have dsl so mucho lag in pvp. =\ so I am just S.O.L. unless I can find a generous soul out there.

simply soloing UW. nothing out of the ordinary. it still takes a long time to make enough for fow armor tho.

arenanet owes us for the foul up, complimentary fissure armor option! OR hate to say this to the honest ones, take away all fissure armors bought since the reset. and change the ecto and shard as a req. for making fissure armors

I would not use option since ele. armor sucks imo

u just need to make an ele char n farm that way... other classes CAN farm, but its best known as an ele...

You can say thanks to arena net, ectos are out of stocks, some guys got more than 1,000 ectos they bought between 100-200k . Now the value is 10,000k. How to make a 9,800k profit in 5 minutes. Anet limited this to some players only (who were online at the moment where they reseted the prices). But dude, people here will say you "you don't need 1,000 ectos" "you don't need fissure armor" "Yes you can farm hours for a few gold while some players made millions in 5 minutes" etc etc
GW must be a joke, not a game. Anet should stop smoking the herb. Seriously

True some people are rich, but in reality you don't need all that money. On the plus side, I don't see anyone selling ecto for like 14-15k. Everyone is selling for a steady 10k so I'm somewhat alright with the situation. I think Anet watched my account though and noticed I was PvPing and not checking the traders every 15 minutes or so like I usually am. Those jerks. Still, I managed to get some ecto for 9k while the trader had them in stock.

But in all fairness, this was one get-rich-quick scheme that paid off for a lot of people. But now that trader prices are constant throughout all of the realms... the traders have very little in stock.
