Retard. LOL i know its unfair that some lucky drunks got like 1000plat sitting in their invent/storage while us general gamers are still farming away/playing.,

i do think that arena.net owe the unlucky ones something or other..
like 100 plat or something to poeple who have been playing for 2months onwards, not EVERYONE becuase some new guy in pre-searing will be runnig around with 100plat in his invent.

but i guess as the briefcase man says in HL2 , the right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world, or something or other.

Im not looking to have some giant wad of cash >.< what all i wanted to do was buy myself some ectos at pure dirt cheap prices so i can save up for the fissure helm, nothing else, i dont like to use up space in my inventory with stuff im not going to us (like spare ectos, etc. even if they are worth alot of gold).

I just wanted what was needed and nothing more.

Deal still stands, i spammed marhans hardcore with no luck x.x ToA yielded similair results, but much more flaming was directed to me o.o.

aww...as the prices were down, i was at the traders...but at the RUNE traders :/ I didn´t even thought about ecto. Anyway,I farmed UW the last 2 days and found at least 41 ectos :|

Fox Reeveheart..just stop it. You're ranting about how it's unfair that other people can farm and play hard for their money, while you're just the noob that sits back and leeches off them. This is bullshit, we all started off with nothing and we all worked our way up..and then there's you crying and begging for cheap ecto when you know that no one will sell it to you.

If you farm and work hard for it, I dont care.

What i AMMMMMMMMM mad about (as many other people are) is how the price reset let hundreds of people buy ectos and the such for prices LESS than 1k just because they were around at the time, heck many of us were off to bed at the time like myself when it happened, so we came on next day and find out hundreds are richer... NO THEY DIDNT FARM OR WORK HARD FOR IT AT ALL! Is getting 100 ectos at 300 each and selling them back later on for like 5k a piece or w/e sound like hard work? nope, just exploiting GW's mistake.

Thats all im askin, I want the deal they got, this thread will be here as long as it has to be e.e someone WILL come along.

this thread is just too amusing. at the reset i was actually at the ascalon trader selling some junk i had just farmed, ecto price was reset to 380gp i think it was. i managed to buy almost 700 at that price and was paying between 380-1.8k for the remaining 800 i have. i also did similar with shards. still got 400 on one of my chars. the only reason i did this was for large trades. its good to have something other than gold to trade with, mind u still have 999P from selling ectos after update and still have over 1k of them left lol.but yea i do somewhat agree that it was cheap of them to do it, but i already had full fissure on 3 chars so i finished off my fourth and thats it really. im no noob who has just started lol, just took advantage of the given situation.

Sorry kid but i really hope not 1 person sells u an ecto. and i really dont want to hear people say, i make 2k an hour. you just have farm in the right spots, go solo, and be GOOD at farming. u also have to know the prices of weapons, materials, and dyes.

one day last week i made 700k buying things low and selling high. i bought 70 ecto at 10k a piece.

the very next day i found some gold items and minor runes. made 300k, which i bought 30 ecto for.

IT IS NOT HARD TO MAKE MONEY! I HAVE FOW ARMOR ON MY 3 PVE CHARACTERS.

Pay attention to the trade channel and looks for good deals and farm, farm, farm!

BTW it is really pathetic that u would even waste ur time on this 300g post. if u were whining so much about money, just farm more and spend less time complaining.

I missed the traders reset too. its no big deal. it is just like nothing changed except u can sell to the trader for more money. this reset is not a bad thing! For all you lazy people out there who dont advertise and sell to other people, sell to the NPC's and shut up

Lol no reason this should be closed if I am dead serious about this.

I played about 2 months now, I already tried the griffon runs and all that goodness e.e

Dont know how people get such great stuff from all these "runs" but i get jack, its literally i just have bad luck, and you have to actually have money first to buy a good quantity of crap low then sell high.

GW is a game of killing and adventures, NOT PLAYING THE STOCK MARKET, if you wanna sit around the trader all day thats fine with me, but that seems like a very boring game o.o.

as I said, farming yields very little for me, most i ever made at 1 time was 15k cause i FORCED myself to not ID a gold item.

as for golds, i get one maybe 1 out of every..... 15 hours would be a good estimate (doing math in my head of # of golds found vs. hours played)

I am sick of these people like "OMG I MAKE 15K AN HOUR!" "I FIND AT LEAST 2 GOLDS EVERY RUN" etc. etc. etc. Its great you make money, BUT PLEASE DONT RUB IT IN ON THE LESS FORTUNATE!

Edit: and no, I mean ONE k, not ten k, I cant farm 60 hours to get that kinda cash.

So what if some idiots got their fissure armor with some luck. What satisfaction does that give you. I actually earned the fissure armor by playing, and when I bought it it felt great.
As a matter of fact, it was so cool that I am passively saving up for another one for a second charcter by just farming the UW now and then (before I had my first I did it 24/7). I already found 20 ectos again since then.

All these people that are whining about not being able to make money.....
If you would actually take the trouble of farming ANYWHERE, from the desert onwards, you should be able to make 1 to 2k each run, even if you flog crap to the trader.

How many times do I have to tell these people that dont listen?

I TRIED! I DONT GET DIDDLY CRAP!

Farming dont work for me, if it yielded at least 1k per run I would do it BUT IT DOESNT.

I am stuck farming the damn chest outside marhans forevermore cause there is no other better place to get cash, but even then i still only make maybe 1.5k per hour.

Ok doing the math..

10k from players to buy an ecto (usual price) so 150k for 15...

1.5k an hour.... 15k in ten hours....

I would have to GRIND and FARM for 100 hours just to have enough for the ectos alone.

Oh then another 10 hours for the 15k itself

then so many hours for the cash for the lesser rare materials

Then probably another 40-50 hours for all the shards.

I know I am easily looking past 150 hours to eventually have everything i need.

I mean some people are PISSED that others just achieved this within 5 minutes of hoarding.

Thats all I want is the prices they got.

Now quit your yapping unless you wanna give me that deal.

DEAL STANDS! yeah, you kinda sound like my roomate, he doesnt get crap farming, while i get alot of stuff. the thing is, im a farmer, he isnt. when im bored, i farm, he does other stuff. ive been farming for quite some time too. im not one of those people who farms for hours at a time though. the spoils from a few hours on thusday got me abour 130k=13 ecto. however, i was farming for about 2 hours straight, and i hate doing that. you cant just start farming and expect to get 10k an hour or more. your problem might be that your too slow at farming, your build might stink, or your going for all the wrong enemies in the wrong order. in any event, i also think it stinks that a few select people got so much ecto so fast, but hey. my internet was down from before the build was put up, till yesterday night, so i couldnt even buy ecto at 9k. i have to go out, farm like mad, then hope i can find people selling it! stop whining, please. the fissure armor isnt for the average gamer to get, thats why its in the fissure.

I was bored with UW this afternoon so I decided to just run outside augury rock and kill some hydras. Then I got to the warpgate to the Arid Sea, and I figured, what the hell, lets farm some there too.
I got 2 gold ones from the Giants there, also some purples, and a ton of blue and whites.

Together must have been for about 5-6k (the gold wasnt max too bad:P), so saying "farming doesnt' work for me" is bullshit. You are just one of those people that think everything should be handed on a silver platter. If you want fissure, you either bust your ass for it, or you dont get it at all.

I mean, seriously, just because "farming doesn't work for you" doesn't mean you should come make a thread that is total spam due to the fact that nobody in their right minds would sell a whiny kid their ecto. GROW UP and just play the game. If you don't work for it, you won't get it.
