emotes....the sugestion thread.

i would like to sugest some more different emotes.
(if i missed a big thread, full of sugestions, is cause the search function is hard for me to work)

i want to keep daft or silly emote sugestions out of here, hopeing there will just be ones that ether are usefull or add some small amount of fun (no sexual emotes, please)

so...

/trick........class specific emote that, like dance, dose something different per class.
warrior: swings two swords arnour thier head in a flashy display
Necro: summons a harmless white wraith-like ghost
Elementalist : fireworks....lots of small fireworks around the head.
Monk: makes others glow with colored auras
Mesmer: creates tiny ilusionary see thru dragons flying about the head
Ranger: butterlflies and vines trail aound the player

/sun.......player sits, rub in tanning oil and lyes on the ground suning self
/flex.......player poses like a body builder and flexes arms (fave of fighters)
/drunk....player stagers about as if they are drunk as a dwarf on a binge
/show.....makes a players wepons and off hand items visible for a moment to show them off. this does not alow them to attack, just to show off a nice set of armour and weopns
/curse.....the @&*!% that appears above your head with the spell is used
/prey.......charater sits on knees (bit like a necro wonam sits) and bows head as if preying
/statue.....same as above /prey, but player does it at the neares God Statue
/fallback....player falls backwads and lays on ground as if sleeping or dead
/fallfront....same as /fallback, but lies face down
/fan..........player pulls out a small fan and fans self with it
/hot..........player whipes forhead as though hot and sweaty
/cold.........player shiveres and rubs arms as though cold
/splash......player spashes water about (works best when up to charaters knees in water)

I like them....but id have to say best would be by necro like commands such as
/power....Necromancer floats up in the air about 5 feet in air and Bone spirits fly from ground and around him.
/blood....Necromancer pulls out blood from his body and plays around with it and twirls around then blood explodes.
But i like those. Im a hardcore player. Im into heavy damage and mostly into death and blood attacks. Im sorta like a goth. Just my character i deleted cuz he sucked. I screwed him up. Was a mes and now in a few months il start over. And a suggestion to u...make things more hardcore like what kind of a white ghost comes up and thats it? How bout a white ghosts haunts people? And goes through people comes back and jumps into the necro body a few times making necro jump back and forth. THATS a good emotion.

Would /fallback make you appear dead so enemies would move on and ignore you? or would that be /playdead ?

I would like to see /kiss and /hug

yeah i agree about the /kiss and /hug But its an emote meaning enemies dont fall for it cuz its not anything real. Would be nice tho if ur at like 50 HP! xD

Some form of celebration dance would be cool, like /celebrate or something like that for a special dance after a good kill.

/sing (lyrics appear above head, differs with the chars..?)

Anet should make this game more realistic...but that will take a while i bet lol. Not to mention this game has STUNNING graphix. I mean i was staring at graphix for 3 hours...thats amazing...

/flex is already in the game

It's nice to know even though you have a world to save you can still think about sun tanning...

/dead would be a nice command. The character walks in town in a streight line about 5 paces then turns arround and falls as if someone just stabbed him. First falls on his knees and looks to the side where he was FAKELY stabbed, then just looks streight and falls...

I really like the /sun idea

or even a simple /laydown to go along with sit where you lie down with say your arms under the back of your head, just chillin... chewin on straw watching funny shaped clouds roll by.

/conga......player grabs next player in line and goes on a conga dance (unless they start the dance, in which case, they <shout> CONGA!! and begin the line.

yeah, /playdead coud be a hammy death, all staggering all over and acting like a silent film ^^ then you lie down on the floor with yer legs and arms in the air like a dog playing dead.


ok, so some of these will seem silly, but think of it this way... you have a guild hall, a guild, and a copy of a film a game while its running software.

you *could* make a dance movie....but if you had lots of emotes....

shows a beach in Lions arch....femail characters are doing the/dance and /sun emotes....voice over with actor tells of holidays in the sun with pretty girls...
next, we cut to a guild hall.
many male characters lined up on the steps of the warriors hall....the fighters /flex....the monks do /dance in harmony together....a ring of necro boys headbang with/dance....and a ranger breakdances in the center of the ring.
last, a battle scene.
lots of fighting..../curse above lots of heads.... people falling over with /fallback and /fallfront and pretending to be dead....a couple of fighters and a monk beat off the last of the critters, but one of the fighters uses /playdead and staggers about, doing the dying swan bit......both the last suriving fighter and the monk stand by the corpse and use /prey over it....
