I think its ridiculous, especially since its against the terms set out in the liscence agreement. Also the prices some people are asking is shocking. I saw someone asking for $250 for a set of weapons. I mean come on, thats 4-5 times the price of the game itself. Anyone found selling anything should have their accounts banned.

I think it is a bit rediculous. You are paying REAL US currency for something. I think it is starting to look like D2 all over again. I don't mind using in game Gold for the trade of items but when I start using my hard earend money for something I think twice.

you risk getting your account permanently banned forever by doing it. If an anet employ catches it on either party... they will and HAVE done this. no reprisals. they have warned you in the EULA and Rules of Conduct that this is unacceptable... Not to mention almost every fan forums that they participate in they ytell you Not to do it or face the concequenses. so there is no excuse. The items or gold you are marketing is in fact their intellectual property. Now I despise IP law with a passion, but I know they may also prosecute for this action, above and beyond banning the accounts involved.

i've had a few guys tell me in game to sell some of my items on ebay to get cash instead. but don't think i'll do it. :/ and no, i didn't or won't buy any items via ebay cuz i just think i probably can get it myself...and if i really can't...then bleh :P
