Yes there are many ways to power level in this game, the best being to kill your doppleganger. Well, here's another method that works fairly well. Once your in Druid's overlook, run yourself to The Wilds mission area without actually doing the primary quest that leads to to the Wilds. Once there, go outside of the wilds, and you will see chosen and Saidra running into town. Block saidra against the wall to the right, and she will be completely immobile and will not attack you. She uses heal area, but if you can sustain damage, you should be able to kill her fairly easily. She is level 20, and when she dies, you get a good amount of exp. A warrior I had took her down in about 10 seconds, and was getting 230 exp at lvl 13. Once you kill her, rezone into the Wilds, and rinse and repeat. Saidra keeps coming back since you have not yet done the quest from druids overlook.
Glhf, anet will prolly patch this soon, but heh, anet should be worrying about alot of other things like the craphole pvp is in.

This is a very lame idea that seems (impossibly?!) more boring to do than farming. I don't know how many times I could manage to kill a single character, for less than 500 XP, but it seems doing the quests that came with this game, for a very similar XP amount, seems to be alot more fun. And I NEVER thought I'd link "quests" and "fun" in the same breath, either.

Or you could just do quests and get to level 20 in a total 8-20 hours O.o
