The best use of the game is what gives yourself the most fun of it. So if they enjoy doing that little romance... hell, why not? It is funny to see what people can do with a little imagination.
It is actually kinda sad that so many people want to bash on the roleplay aspect in a game that has roleplaying game as a part of its classification. Ppl mindlessly kill hordes of monster with no problem... they cast spells, ressurect dead people... cure diseases with the wink of a hand... can float, levitate, teleport. Can use small mechanic thingies to heal themselves or totally blind another person...
and right in this world of imagination people dare talking about WEIRD if someone does some roleplaying? Oh geez...
